The “Sigismund Toduţă” International Symposium of Musicology is an international scientific event meant to honor the work of musicologist and professor Sigismund Toduţă and to foster dialogue between specialists on relevant topics in current musicology. The Symposium is organized by the eponymous foundation, in collaboration with the Doctoral School of the “Gheorghe Dima” National Music Academy as part of the project: SIGISMUND TODUŢĂ: EFIGIE 3D (SIGISMUND TODUŢĂ: 3D EFFIGY).

CALL FOR PAPERS:
20-minute papers and presentations are welcome on any aspect of the main theme.
However, particular attention will be paid to the following topics: authenticity, renewal, parody, distortion.
The main language of the symposium is English, but French is accepted as well.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Abstracts of not more than 500 words (saved as MS Word) should be emailed to the followings: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] by 15 April 2023. Abstracts should be accompanied by five keywords and a short biography of maximum 150 words. Please add the following information: name, surname, institutional affiliation, title of proposal and abstract.
